Help save lives by volunteering your time to drive cancer patients to treatment! The Road to Recovery program enlists the help of volunteer drivers who donate their time and the use of their cars so patients can receive their lifesaving treatments. Drivers also provide encouragement and support. To volunteer, you must have a valid driver’s license, a safe and reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance. In the Oklahoma City area, the American Cancer Society has vehicles that are available for volunteers to drive, as well. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a good driving record. The Society conducts criminal background and driving record checks on all drivers and provides free training. For more information, contact Aly Simon at 405.841.5825 or email@example.com.
