The Federal Community Service Work Study (CSWS) Program, at The University of Tulsa, allows eligible students to earn money by working with local, non-profit agencies. Earnings are based on a wage of $9/hour, and are considered taxable income. CSWS provides undergraduate students an opportunity to work part-time to help pay for the cost of their education and it is available for students, on a first come-first serve basis for those who have financial need as determined by the FAFSA. The goal of the program is to provide students with a meaningful service opportunity and learning experience that is relevant to their interests, while also acting to support and enhance the work of non-profit organizations.
